Former Brighton resident Colin Spencer, food historian and cookery writer, novelist and painter, was commissioned in 1959 by the Times Literary Supplement to draw a series of portraits of distinguished writers. Amongst those who sat for him were Graham Greene, E M Forster, Evelyn Waugh and L. P. Hartley and he will talk about these and others.

Snake River Press

Snake River Press was founded in 2006 by Peter Bridgewater. He is now a highly successful publisher of 'beautifully produced and elegantly presented' cultural guides devoted entirely to different aspects of Sussex.
